Our sustainable journey continues!

In January, we set ourselves the goal to gain third party recognition for our business and opted for #GreenTourism, the go-to world leading standard for sustainability accreditation in the Tourism Industry.

We aimed high, but with low expectations - so were delighted to receive confirmation that we have achieved the Green Tourism ‘Gold Award’, the highest level awarded.

From our feedback: ‘The assessors were very impressed with the progress that you have made with your business in the time that you have been running’.

The standard covers a very wide range of people, places and planet goals with around 150 questions to be backed by detailed evidence! We took our time and completed our application over a three month period; time consuming but made manageable through the user friendly interface.

The Award requires annual renewal and we are aiming to improve our score next year, so we aren’t resting on our laurels, our sustainability journey continues!
