What sets your self catering accommodation apart from other cottages?

Our aim has been to create one of the most sustainable places to stay and this principle has guided all the decisions we've made in the design, construction and operation of the dog friendly accommodation.

Can I bring my dog?

We welcome well behaved dogs at our dog friendly cottages South Wales. You can bring two in the larger two-bedroom apartments and one in the one-bedroom apartment. The additional cost is £20/pet. Trained assistance dogs can stay free.

Please bring your own pet bed or crate, bowls, spoons and towels (our towels are not to be used for pets!).

We have a shower point to hose down your muddy mutts if needed!

How much does it cost to stay?

Your staycation break cost depends on the time of year and which apartment you would like to book. Please click on 'book' to check availability and prices for your planned or last minute holiday cottage stays in Wales,

How are the apartments equipped?

The Visit Wales 4 star graded apartments are fully equipped with everything you should need. They are centrally heated and plenty of hot water is always available. The two bedroom apartments have, in addition, a wood burning stove.

We provide all bedding, towels and toiletries. A small welcome pack consisting of Welsh cakes, butter, jams, teas and coffees + kitchen roll and toilet paper is provided for you first few days. Milk for you first night is available on request.

Where are the nearest shops?

The large supermarkets are in Carmarthen but there are also two convenience stores in Pencader and a smaller supermarket and other local shops in nearby Llandysul.

Can I bring my bike?

You are welcome to bring your bikes and you can store these in a lockable section of our barn where you can also hang wet clothes and other gear.

We also have a hose down point outside for bike cleaning.

Do you have an EV charging point?

A single 7.2kW charging point is provide for the benefit of all three apartments - please ask us if you wish to use this. The cost of the electricity is 40p/kWh and we will advise the cost when charging is complete

Please bring your own charging cable as the point is untethered.

There are also public charging points in Pencader, Llandysul and Llanybydder.

How accessible are the apartments?

Our aim has been to make the apartments as accessible as we can. Two apartments are at ground level, the third is at first floor level.

All apartments have accommodation all on one level and have wide doors and generous shower rooms.

We've produced an accessibility guide for each apartment to help you understand the facilities and any restrictions these may have.

Do you have a washing machine?

We have a washing machine and dryer and can provide a service wash on request, subject to availability - ask for further details.

Alternatively, nearby 'Windy Corner' garage has 24 hour washing machines and dryers.
